My DH took some amazing pictures of me and my AFC. I'm striving to help normalize women going flat. It's an option that too many are shamed away from.

Awesome! Wish there was more of that when I started my journey. Really wonderful.
Do you know anyone who has done an explant (mastectomy → implants → explant → "flat" (maybe a little concave) I am doing an explant but considering not doing DIEP or other reconstruction. The PS says I will probably be a bit concave … like as much as 1/2". I am trying to find someone who has gone through that.

There are several groups on Facebook for aesthetic flat closure and explant recipients: Fierce Flat Forward, Fabulously Flat - Not Reconstructing, and Flat Out Love. There are two good subreddits as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/breastcancer/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/aestheticflatclosure/ . I know of several explant ladies who were very happy with their results.
Not Putting on a Shirt, https://notputtingonashirt.org, has a vetted directory of surgeons who are supportive of AFC. These surgeons might have a little more experience in rearranging your remaining fatty tissue in your chest (so, not a DIEP transfer of abdominal fat) to help minimize concavity. I know there are a lot of factors involved, and no guarantees. But you might find someone who can provide more options. Good luck!
