How to use member profile search to find others like you

hands.png

Using the information you and others share, you can find others based on:

📍Location (ex: lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

🌍Demographic (ex. is Black or African-American)

🧬Diagnosis (ex: diagnosed in the last year with stage II, ER+, PR+, HER2- breast cancer)

💊Treatment (ex: has been treated with a unilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, and anastrozole)

You can enter as much or as little profile information and search criteria as you want. The more members who create and update their profiles, the more connections you’ll find! Learn more about how to search for members.

Hi Mods, thanks for everything you do. The profile is not easy to fill out if you've had more than one diagnosis. Is there any way to address that? Some questions say "your most recent dx" but, like, then we just disregard all the experience that comes with the first dx..? Any guidance here would be appreciated. Thanks again.

    Hi @kks_rd,

Thanks for your question and comment. We do offer the Profile Field called "Breast Cancer History," where you can add any previous diagnoses and treatment information so your full journey is represented. We're always open to suggestions though! If you feel there are areas where the questions could better reflect multiple diagnoses, please let us know—we want the profile to feel accurate and inclusive of everyone’s experience!
