Kisqali for prevention

Hi! Is anyone on Kisqali for prevention? I was diagnosed with early stage 2 breast cancer, did surgery and radiation treatment. Still do some infusions and letrozol. Now the doctors are recommending Kisqali as well, saying that it can reduce chances of the cancer to come back. Because this is kind of new, it has been hard to find people in the same situation. So, if anyone here is on the same page and want to share experience with the medication it would be helpful. I feel a bit anxious to start it. Thank you!

I have been on Kisqali for prevention for nearly 2 years. I was approved for it before it was FDA approved. I have had no side effects except for thinning hair.

I was 3a, one node with micromets only, low oncoscore. Lumpectomy. No chemo.

  • Thank you so much for your response. I was 2 (not sure about the letter), one node on armpit, low oncoscore. Removed breast because of an aesthetic surgery I did in the past to reduce breast size. No chemo as well.

@rose_garden78 Good Morning! I'm about to start radiation but they did say that I will be taking this for 3 years. Have you had any side effects? Thanks
