mom2bill, love that meme. I am sure they will stand in line to be the one, since he has declared us a non-profession. Who does he think trains the ones who are at bedside? Those with advanced degrees, which are very expensive to obtain, not recompensed by the meager salaries they make (academics make less than bedside nurses), and are a necessity to train the nurses of the future, conduct necessary research on nursing practice and patient care, and fill a niche in patient care in physician's offices.

Betrayal, as a Clinical Social Worker I am also among those who are no longer considered “professionals” by the current administration…the most unprofessional group of morons ever assembled. I’m appalled by everything that they are doing, but this really got under my skin!

I'm in the soon-to-be not 'professional' teacher category. I wonder why I had to taken all those professional development classes and workshops throughout the years?

I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we're all teachers - if we're willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.

I think Pantone will never dictate the color of the year to me. Cloud Dancer should have been named Washington White wash, which truly reflects what is happening there. Revisionist history, white lies, dead name, pardons for drug dealers while we bomb unknowns in boats in the Caribbean, deleting parts of the Constitution we don't think apply to the powers that be or using the SC to our advantage. Blehh to all of them.
I'll paint my walls with Sherwin Williams and pick a blue that reflects the sky and hope.
