gestational carrier

Hi, Im looking to connect with breast cancer patients who have expanded their family through help of a gestational carrier. I was initially dxd with early stage hormone positive, her2 neg breast cancer in 2018. I underwent lumpectomy & radiation, then took Tamoxifen 4 yrs. In 2024, my oncologist gave me green light to pause Tamoxifen to attempt pregnancy. I got pregnant through ivf this year but miscarried. As I was prepping for a new attempt, a screening mammo revealed cancer in same breast as 2018. I got mastectomy & am now back on (stronger) endocrine regime. My onco will not let me attempt pregnancy again, so Im looking for gc who is willing to carry a pregnancy using the embryos my spouse and I have left over. I have been in touch with multiple surrogacy agencies and am feeling very overwhelmed. Would love to be in touch with other breast cancer patients who have worked with a gestational carrier to expand their family. Thank you

@grateful2balive - We’re so sorry we missed your post. Sometimes posts do get overlooked, and we wanted to check back in and see how you’re doing now.

We really hope some members who’ve gone through working with a gestational carrier will see this and share their experiences. In the meantime, if you’d like, you can also use the All Topics page to search for past conversations using terms like “gestational carrier” or “surrogacy.” You may find older threads and members you can reach out to and connect with directly via private message. Anyway, we’re bumping your post now to help bring it back into view. We hope others will chime in soon!
