Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?

Petite, you must have hypothyroid, inactive, which can cause weight gain. I have the same and have been taking a tiny yellow pill every morning for years to regulate the thyroid function. Interestingly, all my siblings have a thyroid problem, as did our mother. One sister had the over-active thyroid. My thyroid issue was caught early because my PCP at that time had worked with a physician who did thyroid research. The problem is often overlooked in younger people.

I passed on golf today in favor of doing some errands. One is to take my car to the car wash, where we have a membership which has gone largely unused the last couple of months. I also want to go to Costco.

I know we have ruled out politics and controversial current events as topics of discussion, but I think some non-controversial remarks would be allowable. I regret money spent on war, perhaps unnecessarily, when there are so many domestic needs that go unfunded because our politicians in charge of the government declare that the country can't afford the expense. Also, it's baffling that lessons from past unsuccessful wars go unheeded. That's all I'll say on the subject.

hi everyone. Well we spring forward an hour on Sunday for the last time. Yup BC has decided enough with the time changing.
I had a great rehearsal last night and my friend Kathy took some stellar photos. We had sound and lights. Show is set in 1995 in a private island in the gulf coast of BC. Spans mid sept thru early December. So yup sone storm and rain sounds but ko snow! I’ll post more when the projections come.
we have our first audience on Mondays dress rehearsal. Yay.
