Good morning my darlings. Thanls again for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers. Means so much to me.
Liam is recovering well. The calcium on his heart was caused by the heart attack, so that is one thing dealt with. He is responding very well to the antibiotics and lungs are starting to clear. They have changed his drugs regime. Still early days but so far all positive. Two more test results expected today.
Sister and other brother are now fighting over who knows best with regard to his future care. That will be amusing. Liam was brought up to be independant and he is very stubborn, expecting fireworks with this one.

did your doc give you any reccomendations? if not, miralax is good,while you are on the pain meds take something regularly as you will get constipated with the pain meds.. also drink plenty of fluids, don't worry about eating as long as your drinking, ginger ale and crackers are good for nausea. good news bernie about liam

Lara, Hate that you are in so much pain. Hoping you will get some relief today. ALSO good info from Julie re taking something so you won't get constipated is important! Well I woke up at 3:45, tried to go back to sleep, too much on my mind. SO guess I should hit the treadmill. Sue, you give me so much inspiration with all the walking you do! We may get snow today, but if not it will be quite cold and messy out. I am taking my mom to her dr today (just checkup). Seems like everyday is someone's dr or PT appt....one of these days I will have time to make the appts I have put off for me!

Cami, what a bummer that you have to wait until next week. I do hope you will be better, so we can get this done and out of the way, and HOPEFULLY figure out WHY all of the D’ria. Goldie u mean lara's out of the hospital already u think. OMG have they no mercy-I never understand letting someone go home, I know ins. has a say in it, but come on they have to much say in everything. BTW that DOTD looks so pretty , but not for me. Happy Birthday to Betty White for shoah. 91--I remember when she first started TV in the 50's she was so cute with her dimples, and now she's so beautiful wih her dimples-she looks wonderful.
My DD is vacuuming nNOW se does this at least 2x a week--I didn't teach her this-she's nuts--she's always cleaning, drives me crazy and when her DH is not working they're painting something , moving furn or something. There lies the perfect match. I stay in my room with my door closed-Joey is the only one that comes in whenever he wants everyone else knocks, I'm afraid they are going to start cleaning.
It's 26 here and sunny, but chilly out there--I still haven't been out all week except for Mon. Fine with me, can't go far from the bsthroom anyway LOL

Aw, Lara . . .so sorry about the deep pain you are having. I too am in constant pain but luckily my 3 to 4 diluadad is enough to have some painfree moments. I'm no expert in pain control but have you heard about morphine that the patient is able to use as needed with the push of a button - and you are able to control it yourself. It must involve a home unit of some sort. Wishing some sort of painkiller will work for you.

Thanks for the update on Lara. Hate that she is in pain…but guess it is to be expected to some degree. My experience is pain killers only good if they knock you out…mese likes dat kind!

So am I reading right…that you are giving up on painting all together? That just tugs at mese fart as I kno how much you enjoy it. But I also kno…sometimes we just have to taper down on the things we do. Praying and Hoping you find relief …jes NOT FAIR!! That morphine you speak about is administered thru a port, jes like/or similar to what we use for chemo. The machine is preset for doses, but you can push a button for a dose early. My step dad had one once he could not swallow morphine pills…his C was everywhere (FURB). RIP Joe. ((Lynda))

Hi Guys---u gals too. A bunch of new tenders from BETTY WHITE herself--Thank u for our present on u'r day of birth -who has more energy for all those tenders than I have for one.
Orange I hope u'r getting some relief from all that pain. I can't imagine all this pain u gals go thru with all these surgeries--geeze what do they do to u. I mean having rhem chopped off is painless, but putting something back in sounds horrid. U'd think t would be the other way around but it's not.
Kat u have to take care of u'r self or u can't take care of anyone else.
And Dork I know u have to work but this many hours--maybe it too much --I mean U DO HAVE A HOLE IN U'R CHEST that's all I have to say about this hole that I can't believe anyone can walk around with let alone all this work u have. I'm sorry, at least my holes are in the proper places--all of them.
