    Mornin' ladies

I was MIA cu I slept on and off all weekend I'm the only one on phones and OMG this heat has gotten to every AC around here. There are so many weather alerts going on my phone a nd computer, remember this in Dec.

    I'm trying to catch up.

Jazzy what are the results I thought I was getting everything but I missed that somehow. Everything better be all right.

Lori I'm so glad ur better, but painting now. PLEASE stay put for a while. And not getting any answers is horrible. Member me going thru years of diarrhea like 3,4 times a week and usually in a hospital and so many tests and no one knew from 2 different hospitals and all kinds of Dr. The only thing that stopped it was when I started taking morphine and Tylenol 3 or 4 so I'm glad to take them. But never knowing why was so maddening and I could never go anyplace cuz of it. U'd think that whatever u have in ur system some Dr. would know about it. I don't get it, but I understand how u feel.

JC hope ur healing is going well, still take it easy tho. Oh I've had so many Drs. so very young, once I did ask to see his Drivers license,, I thought he was like Dougie houser. But I think the older we get the younger they look. Ur scar will start fading after a while it is still so very new. And Kim gave u a great idea about the pillow.

Kim good u got to go to water with Sadie. U must have a high tolerance for heat having just one A/C. And how could u have not had an MRI, that doesn't seem possible the way the love to give them. And u MADE ice cream, holy chit, I've never done that.

Sandy ur poor DH having a flat where he was and the heat on top of it. Nice that u took care of him with his drink.

And I didn't know Trader Joe's had individual drinks u could buy. There are so many beers with fruit ads on TV and they look so good my DD goes there so I have to tell her. Sometime I would like a beer in summer and this summer is really beerworthy.

Cami- I was supposed to get all the results with my BS end of the day but that apt got pushed to mid August. So I guess if there is a problem, they will call or I will get a letter in the mail.

I am glad to hear that everyone seems to be getting better.....if we can all survive this heat. I had a very busy weekend. My oldest son has 8 children (his, hers, and ours), they were all at my house on Saturday minus the 2 oldest who were working, along with 3 cousins from the other side of the family and one brought a friend. It was crazy; there was a thunder/lightening storm so they were all in the house. When it stopped they all went swimming in the pool with the pool light on and didn't all leave till around 9:00 pm. The next day I watched the 2 year old for a few hours. I am suppose to keep the 2 year old while the rest of them go on a cruise for 4 days. I will have to be more organized in the morning to get him to daycare so I won't be late for work. I may have to drink a bit more......

I am counting down my work time and have 21 more months to go. I won't be 65 when I stop so I will have to figure out insurance, but when I leave I will have 35 years here and don't want to stay longer than that.

I can't address everyone by name - but I read all the posts and think of you all as friends. Stay cool!

Misty, sounds like a wonderful time!

Well E Coli for me, have to do another anti b.

NM, could this have cured itself with the 2 anti b's I have been on, or do I still have it?

No drink tonight since I had H&P today but I did have a single serving cup of Haagen Daas Coffee ice cream, soooo good! But I did want to share with you all that I got body/bone scan results this morning and I’m still stable. I may try one of the drink recipes posted here to celebrate.

I hope everyone is doing well πŸ˜€

Happy end of the day Monday everyone! I have been in and out of this thread, not sure where the time goes, but seems like most are doing well?! My dang neutrophils are still too low to resume my Ibrance, and I am going out of town for 1 week, so by the time I return, get the required bloodwork done and pills, it will be about 4 weeks off - arghhh, I trully find this stressful and it makes me crabby as well ;)

Goldie, glad you are feeling better, I hope the good health sticks around for a long time (like forever!)

Jazzy - Peach crisp recipe sounds like one to make for sure, I have been making rhubarb crisp this summer as I have a surplus of that!!

Super - I love birthday parties and 80 sounds amazing! Hmmph My dang neutrophils are still too low to resume my Ibrance, and I am going out of town for 1 week, so by the time I return, get the required bloodwork done and pills, it will be about 4 weeks off - arghhh, I trully find this stressful and it makes me crabby as well ;)

NM - Gotta love Brasilia and getting into the water!

I am off to pack and get ready for my trip to Montreal for my 50th High School Reunion, as well, one of my sisters (who is flying in from Florida) turns 60, so lots of celebrations in the upcoming week. Take care everyone and stay cool, Cheers!

Yay, Ilona! You owe yourself a pint of Haagen-Dasz. Pour some Kahlua or Tia Maria over it. (Me, I'm gonna try making cappuccino granita with decaf espresso, almond milk, monkfruit sweetener and ice in the Vitamix and freeze it immediately. This sugar-free Jello stuff is getting old.

Goldie - so sorry about the E coli - I guess its good you know what it is now. I would have thought the other antibiotics would have gotten rid of it, but I guess not.

NM - you got a long day ahead of you. Rest when you can.

Cami, I don't know. That friggin culture was done 2 weeks ago. I'm really wondering if I even need those anti biotics, since I'm feeling almost normal. I guess I should take them to be certain.

I went to see my surgeon this morning so he could admire his handiwork. The pathology report stated β€œno Invasive Carcinoma found”. Yippee! Maybe we killed it twice! Once with chemo and once with local treatment (lumpectomy). I want to do the same with my small lung tumor. The local treatment will be the SBRT. I meet with the MO tomorrow for him to sign off on me restarting Abraxane in August. I do give chemo about 85% of the credit for killing the cancer that was able to be seen. Now I have to ask the MO about his definition of NED and what happens once I get to that level. I am triple negative so the hormone therapies won’t work. I also failed the test for immunotherapy. Wish there was a pill with minimum side effects that I could take instead of an infusion of poison.

The cold front is moving through as we speak. Raining buckets right now. We are under a flash flood warning, but no thunderstorm action yet. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nice day with low humidity.

I will definitely celebrate tonight with an adult beverage. The kids are coming over so we will have fun sharing the good news.Take care everyone!

Illimae, they only treated me for UTI. No cultures were ever sent in until 2 weeks ago and my Primary was out of town the later part of last week. I was feeling pretty good, but thought I better take the dang things just to be sure!

Ok Goldie, maybe I missed some posts, I guess the UTI was the cause of your fevers. Anyway, glad you’re feeling good.

Mornin' Ladies., can't sleep, had to work most of the day and all day today...I did that for yrs but now it seems like a load for me. My pain is ebbing up but I know it's cuz I stay in the same position for the phone. So can't wait til Friday comes. Oh well.

Lori u have to take every one of those pills no matter how u feel, but u know that. I just have to nag. And I think the UTI's started all of this wacky crap. Once u really start getting them thy hang on underlying waiting to come back, even tho u actually don't have one. That germ just doesn't leave ur body like thy say. And it seems to come out in a fever So keep on taking pills and after use any product that's good for UTI's naturally, pure cranberry and I know there is more. I always talk about myself but I only do it cuz I went thu it for over 1 yr. I'm not complaining I just know what it was like. And it was always changing my anti-b's, who knows what one actually worked. Now my sister is going thru that for quite a while. When I was younger and got them every so often I think they used to give u sulpher and worked like a charm, but I have no idea what they give u now, but it never seems like the first few never work. I'm just so upset ur still playing ROUND WITH THIS, it has to stop soon now. <<<HUGS>>> I'm sorry I'm blabbering to u Lori, I just get so frustrated.

    JC things sound pretty good.

Illi see u pooped in and Sandy too. But everyone is so quiet, except me.

I'm aggravated too, Les lost her temper and it came on me, cuz I don' cry like like they do when she gets mad, but I feel like slapping her across her face. Believe me I don't bother them at all, I even eat alone never watch TV with them I really just leave everyone alone even when I don't feel well, Oh I'm no angel I didn't mean that but , they don't know I live here even someone comes to visit I stay to myself. I give then all my SSI and my pension but I keep the money I earn from Dan, they get quite a bit and to yell at me stinks and I don't care what her reasoning is. I know it's hard living with ur kids, that's why I stay out of the way. For the most part it really is OK but every so often sparks fly Sorry I'm still upset that's why I can't sleep tonite. Oh well u gals can so that;'s good.

Met with the MO this morning. He is very pleased with the pathology report. The SBRT will be done to what was a tumor in my lung. We discussed the NED process. I will do chemo for four months, then another PET scan. If there is still nothing there, he thinks I should do regular radiation to the breast. This treatment is inline with treatment of a curative intent. After that, it will be time to think about stopping chemo. A lot to think about. I did find a retrospective study out of MD Anderson speaking to overall survival rates and NED. Even triple negative MBC patients had better OS if they are successful in reaching NED. It is definitely a goal for both myself and the MO. I asked him about the nurse navigator that met with my DH at the hospital. The MO said I knew more than she did about cancer and would not benefit from her advice. LOL. I truly feel the MO and I are on the same path to rid by body of cancer. Thanks Camillegal for the dancing baby! You find the cutest gifs. Tomorrow I meet with the RO. Then Friday my DH and I are going to do something FUN
