A sad hello this morning. Kathy, I'm so sorry to read about Junie and I know you must be hurting so badly. I know we are all just in agony to hear that she has not woken up. NM your prayer is beautiful, as is Dorthy's. Everyone's words are just beautiful. You are all in my thoughts and prayers,

    Jean

I noticed the Tattie Tenders added a Miller Lite fountain this morning, next to the Mimosa fountain and the Percotini fountain. Remembering Junie's fun side, here is a pic of some of us that was photoshopped (duh!), by either Lori or HunkyD, I think. Shows Junie (2nd from right), Lori, Dee, HunkyD, and myself, when the HTL was created......

    Do the hooky looky lua

I'll be hanging around the Miller Lite fountain today.

Awww, I love this.  I recognize HD but are you able to tell us who the others are? I will join you at the Miller Lite fountain!

Chrissy suggested in a PM that we find a time today where we can have a Memorial tribube to our Junie. Of course Chrissy just went to bed so I would say it would have to be this evening.  Anyone?

DorK, The pics of Junie's and my head were from when we met. Looking from the right, its me, Junie, Lori (in the back), Dee, and HD. Maybe Lori put this together???? She is in Vegas right now. Let's see how today progresses, before we plan our memorial tribute. But that is a good idea. I will let you all know when I hear from her husband. Hugs, Kathy

Getting crowded around the ML fountain! Trying to squeeze my arm in, between everyone, to refill my mug. On second thought, I should fill 2 mugs while I have a chance. Here's to you, Junie!

I am here too. The Miller Lite just hits the spot today. I think I may venture into the chapel for a quick prayer to Junie's loved ones including each of you gals, then I will try to relax a spell in a hammock.

Kathy, thanks for the clarification in the pics. I knew I say this before but forgot it was in the video. I would love to see that video again (hint hint). When does Lori come home?

Hugs to all you great chickadees! Here is a toast to Junie, with lots o love ♥.....clink

Shoot! I was hoping for a miracle. May this be a reminder to us all to express our love openly and often. There is a special place in my heart for all my friends at the lounge. I hope Junie has been feeling the love we have all been sending.

    Kathy,

Thank you for keeping us updated on Junie.  I know realistically that Junie is probably not going to make it back to the lounge, but my heart just can''t accept it.

    Still praying for you Junie.

Casino Girl (Donna), Did you see the video Lori made, of the HTL? So glad Beans reposted the link, as it was nice to revisit it. YOU are in it too.....yup, you made the cut....did not end up on the editing room floor! I know how you feel, my heart can't accept it either. Just not right.

Gail, nice sentiments, and so true to always remember to let our loved ones know how much they mean to us.

DorK, Glad the TT's are handing out buckets of ML's as we enter the lounge. And yes, every drink will be a toast to our Junebug!

I have been gone all afternoon, and have not yet received a phone call. Will call her husband later on, if I don't hear from him. Still hoping and praying.

    Love you all,

    Kathy

Good Morning, Loungettes! Had a nice weekend at work. It was nice to have a few moment s to check the boards for news about Junie. Got to catch up on housework today, hopefully before the predicted thunderstorms come through this afternoon. I love watching storms from my sun porch. Happy August everyone!

Wahine-thanks for the updates, I know this must be very hard for you. I'm praying for you, too, as well as all of us here in the lounge, along with Junie and her family. The photo is great! It made me LOL. I'm glad the tenders got the Miller Lite fountain going. It's going to be a popular addition to the lounge.

DorK-I'd like to see the video again, too, but I lost the link during one of my computer crashes recently (I have a new computer now that is working GREAT!) . But maybe I can find it.

AStorm-I haven't ruled out a miracle yet. I know the chances aren't high, but then, if the chances were good it wouldn't be a miracle, would it? (Did that make any sense?)

CasinoGirl-my heart isn't very realistic, either. Not going to give up hope until I absolutely have to, with you on that one.

Beanie-thanks for the link! I smiled and laughed to watch it again. It's been way too long! I had forgotten about the tendency to start fires, and then entertain the firemen who come put it out. I've got the link bookmarked again.

Chrissy-ALWAYS room at the fountains, the tenders will make the fountain bigger if necessary, and whenever necessary.

    Hi, Karen!

    Hi Girlz,

I am home, we did not make it to the trade show. Ended up in ER at 6am Sun morning instead. Won't elaborate, but not to worry anyone, DH has kidney stones and also was told he has cysts in his kidneys as well, that should be monitored. They shot him up twice with morphine, gave us some scripts and home we went.

Just got done reading everyone's posts, but wasn't responding in Word to each like I usually do. DorK, I hope you are healing well and yes I did appreciate my ML! Was the only beer I had. I almost brought the bottle home with me!

Everyone's prayers are just amazing and so so beautiful........I say AMEN to all of them.

    LORD HEAR OUR PRAYERS

Beans and anyone else, YES post the video whenever you want. It is OUR video.

Kymn, your party sounds like it was a hoot. I am sure you had a fantastic time. And I agree, DH should do the clean up too.

Went for a walk at 6:30 this morning.....sure makes the day seem long!!!  but its too hot out to be outside for anything else....high predicted to be close to 100.....not to my liking!!!  my perfect summer day is 75 to 80, blue sky and light breeze!!!!

Wishing everyone a good Monday.....Hoping for good news....Hugs, Karen

Gosh it is too hot everywhere isn't it! Checking in....

Goldie - so sorry about the ER run but thankful he is alright. Glad you are back home safe and back to the lounge..

NM -  wonderful posts as always - happy cleaning...

My sister and BIL are now headed up to the Mayo clinic to get a second opinion to see if anything can be done on his tumor.

My kids come home today after being with their Dad in N.C. found out my son has an ear infection... or at least it sounds like it. They will be driving all day today so I'm guessing first thing in the am on Tuesday we will be off to the Dr. NM - any home remedies that could make him more comfortable till we get him to the Doc? His ear and down his jaw is painful. That is all I know unfortunantly.I would have tried to have gotten him in up there before I left but that is me and he isn't thinking that way.

Anyway - we are all looking, hoping and praying for a miracle.......

Stanzie--heat and tylenol will help the pain of an earache.  An antihistamine like diphenhydramine (Benadryl) often helps, too, but whithout knowing how old your son it that may or may not be useful.  And lots of TLC until he gets on antibiotics and they have time to kick in.

It's sunny and glorious here in Seattle.  Supposed to be highs in the 70s all week.  Plus sunny!!!!

    Cool at night too.

    Am also praying.

Woke up to the news that my bank (HSBC) will be selling off its US operations in the next couple of years.  So will finally need to move everything.  I have everything of course linked.  So will need to figure out "where" and whether I want something local or a national bank.  There are advantages to either one.

Not serious, but one of life's little surprises.  I needed to do this anyway.  I think I have a bit of time though.  Major blow to Rochester NY which has already lost major jobs from Kodak and Xerox.  I wonder why the city isn't a technology hub with RIT there???

Goldie.....so sorry about your husband.  These things will flatten the strongest guy.

I am hoping I can settle the job front first.  Then can easily start over with setting up all my accounts.

I need to get moving, but dragging a bit after all my cycling last weekend.  Think I need to do a vegetables/fruit run as didn't make the farm stand.

Anyway, hoping everyone has a great week.  Prayers for Junie and for Goldie's DH. - Claire
