Oh Dear Lori (Goldie for the newbies), I did not realize you had to get up THAT early...you shoulda kicked us out!!! I just couldn't stop talking either....the time seemed to fly by. So sweet of you.....but....when I was told I looked like JS it was many, many years ago (at least 10-14!)...not anymore I am afraid. Sometimes they would think I looked like Suzanne Pleshette too (her younger years, not now!), but I was much, much younger then!!! Now I prolly get confused for one of the "Golden Girls"....LOL. Thanks for all the compliments, you are such a sweetie. And girls, you know how pretty Lori's avatar is, well she is soooooo much prettier in person, and so very genuinely sweet. Heart of gold. So very glad we were able to get-together. DH was so tired driving home, but he told me to rest, so no sooner (or so it seemed) than I closed my eyes, he was pulling into a rest stop to have a quick nap. Well, that kept MY eyes open, just watching all the characters getting out of their cars!! You know how rest areas are, late at night....eeeccckkkk. But we made it home safely....not so smart to drink that much, then drive, though. I don't know why, but I thought we would prolly talk for a couple of hours, then say our sad goodbyes. BUT we could have talked for days on end, without stopping! No Lori, I did not think you were groping! LOL. We did have some wonderful hugs though! Very amazing visit, and so very glad we were able to meet!!!! Thank you, also, for getting there early, so we could have a lot of time together!!!

DorK (DorothyK), How is your back doing today? Scary that your DH found it was still red and irritated (hope its not infected)., so that was VERY smart that he helped you bathe. Hope you can get that checked out ASAP. Do not wait! Hope your dr you are seeing this AM, can check it out for you. So nice you and Scuby will be getting together again!!!

Allison (Mrs_Vino), HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!! Will post some more later, still trying to wake up. For some reason I couldn't sleep last night....seemed very hot all night, even with the fan on, so fell asleep around 7 am and just got up! But I will be bright-eyed for the big partay tonight!!! What theme do you want to have at the HTL???

Good morning (barely), Loungettes! No, I haven't been a slug-a-bed today, I've been out to get fasting blood work done, had breakfast, took a 3.5 walk with Sadie, made a phone call. So now I get to sit and play on the computer for a bit.Well, it was morning when I started this post. . .

Kymn-having too much time to think is a challenge, isn't it? Glad you didn't give in to the Rat Ba$tard's request. Seems he can talk to you when HE wants something, wonder why he can't talk when YOU want something? Ver y telling, that is. Personally, I think your heart isn't missing HIM, precisely. I think your heart is missing and grieving the loss of the relationship you thought you had with him. No matter how horrid he turns out to be, you still will grieve the loss of the relationship and the life you were living. That's normal.

Claire-I've got kind of the opposite problem. My medical "team" is spread out over most of central and southern Maine, with one in Boston. The self-insured system has local practices ONLY. If I get health insurance through work I will be dealing with the out-of-network part all the time. Well, not all the time, my BS is in the system. My PCP isn't, my Med Onc isn't, my ENT isn't, my PS isn't. So I'm not sure if I would be better off trying to get individual insurance (if I can find any that I qualify for) or how to work this. So I'm researching. If only I was wealthy enough to just pay out of pocket for everything, and be in complete control of all my care. . . . While I am doing a good amount of regular walking, the corn maze is uneven ground, and was slippery from the rain the day before. Uneven ground and going down stairs makes my knees really, really talk back to me!

Scuba-glad you enjoy the cartoons! The insurance thing is a pain, but I have until the middle of next month to research and make a decision. Better than having to make a snap decision! Good luck with the afternoon's work!

DorK-Do we need to dispatch the HTL Traveling Caffeination Emergency Squad to you? They have all forms of caffeine, from oral to IV! Name your favorite and that's what you'll get!

Wahine-I'm sure I'll find a good way to go, it's just a pain that I really don't need right now. Glad you caught the Chatterbox reference! Sounds like you are the cockatiel savior! Better go every day, I think you're right. Poor neglected thing!

Mrs. Vino-a trip with serious liver pickling is always a good time! Great about the Neulasta free sample! Insurance doesn't cover it yet because the daily shot version (Neupogen) has been around long enough to be much less expensive. It's just that no one likes the daily shot thing. Can't blame, ‘em! I've had hot Krsipy Kreme donuts when I was on vacation in Vegas once or twice. Don't have them here on the east coast. Probably a good thing given my lack of resistance to sweet things!
