Wicked was amazing....we really enjoyed the show....and dinner was great too....tried deep fried pickles for the first time!!!! Loved what I ordered...it was portobello mushroom, breaded eggplant and mashed potatoes all stacked together in a tower....done very pretty on a decorated plated...DD loved it too...better than what she ordered...a penne pasta....we had way to much food and since the restaurant had a happy hour, I indulged in two glasses of wine...the merlot was much better than the cabernet....Fun but late night....and now here I am on the computer....misplaced my VISA.....last time I used it was this morning at Target to pay for an Rx....can't find it in my wallet or purse...checked on line and no one has used it since then, so guessing its still somewhere in my possession.....don't remember getting it out when I got home to pay for anything online....oh wait, yes I did...was going to order Mom flowers for mother's day but changed my mind when I saw the shipping charges...so where did I put the card!!!!
My fur babies got groomed today...and Mischa is just gorgeous!!!!

I had a fabulous weekend and spent most of the time laughing my head off. My SIL came to stay as it was the annual Antiques Fair and our little town was really hopping! I have officially done away with the walking stick as I am feeling that the knee is quite strong. I have my followup appointment with the doc tomorrow so I'm hoping he is as pleased as I am with the progress.

Good Morning, Loungettes! I expected to get called out last night to attend a death, but the phone never rang and I slept until 7:30! Otherwise it wasn't too bad a weekend, especially for a full moon weekend. The sun came out yesterday, finally, so today's project is to get the mower going and get the lawn mowed for the first time. Then, if I have enough energy left over, to get the tiller started and finish tilling the garden. Gonna be a nice day today!

Got a call from the patient rep today, meeting wiht the Medical Director of the ER, and someone who is also in charge of the ER somehow, forget her exact title, tomorrow. The Doctor has half and hour for me, how exciting! At least I know just how seriously they are taking my complaint, which is not much. Half and hour's worth. Guess I better practice my speach to make sure I get in everything I want to cover!

Quick hello to all! Mema your post about Stella's activities had me ROFLMAO!!!!! Luv all the posts, so funnnneeeeeeee!!! My mom is doing really well with that sore knee...cannot believe she didn't break something! We went to Montreal today and drove around old city and new city, was lucky to find our way back out! Beautiful area!!! Poor DH drove from 9am to 4:30 pm... we only stopped for lunch at a french place. He is napping, but mese gonna habs some Happy Hour....ChEARS Dears!!!!

Codl and rainy day today and loving it...think the high got to 48!!! 40 colder than last Friday when we broke a record.....the foothills just west of Denver are getting snow.....
Still haven't found my visa....I'm convinced its in the house...maybe stuck in my chair when I can't get it, but think I best call the cc company....
DH is with my folks and he's more worried about Mom than Dad....he's been able to engage Dad in conversation and thinks Dad checks out when he is bored...said Mom walks likes she is 100 and took her a long time to make dinner....he is worried about her driving as she is very unsure of herself.....he feels that she isn't doing well psych wise....will forward his email to her counselor and ask the counselor to call me....may also call her pcp.....I will be there in a month...I'm going to fly into FLL and rent a car....I do not want her on the highway at all, even to go to pbi which is closer....

A police motorcycle officer stops a driver for shooting through a red light. The driver is a real bar steward, steps out of his car and comes striding toward the officer, demanding to know why he is being harassed by the Gestapo!
So the officer calmly tells him of the red light violation. The motorist instantly goes on a tirade, questioning the officer's ancestry, sexual orientation, etc., in rather explicit offensive terms.
The tirade goes on without the officer saying a dickybird.
When the officer finishes writing the ticket he puts an "AH" in the lower right corner of the narrative portion of the ticket. He then hands it to The 'violator' for his signature. The bloke signs the ticket angrily, and when presented with his copy points to the "AH" and demands to know what it stands for.
The officer says, "That's so when we go to court, I'll remember that you're an arsehole!"
Two months later they're in court. The 'violator' has a bad driving record and he has a heap of demerits and is in danger of losing his license, so he hired a lawyer to represent him.
On the stand the officer testifies to seeing the man run through the red light.
Under cross examination the defense attorney asks; "Officer is this a reasonable facsimile of the ticket that you issued to my client?"
Officer responds, "Yes, sir, that is the defendant's copy, his signature and mine, same number at the top."
Lawyer: "Officer, is there any particular marking or notation on this ticket you don't normally make?"
"Yes, sir, in the lower right corner of the narrative there is an "AH," underlined."
"What does the "AH" stand for, officer?"
"Aggressive and hostile, Sir."
"Aggressive and hostile?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Officer, are you sure it doesn't stand for arsehole?"
