good morning all,lost a post yesterday but lets try again. thanks for explaining the allergy situation so well nm,i blame frb and tamox but i did find a good side effect from tamox this year,mosquitos no longer like melast yearcould walk to the mailbox and come back with 7-8 bites a time,this all summer i've had 3 bites total. trying to upload pics from my new camera of the food and wine festival but not having a any luck yet.miss innocence hope your having a really good time this weekend

CynCyn--You might want to talk to your PCP about getting liver function blood testing done more often than the usual yearly while you are on tamoxifen. Most docs do not run interaction checks on all the meds a person is taking, they only look at the meds they prescribe. The Med Onc may not even be aware you are on a statin. Your PCP probably doesn't know tamoxifen interacts with lovastatin. Pharmacies may or may not pick the interaction up depending on what software they use to check for interactions (if they even do that), and if you are like me and get meds from multiple sources (saves lots of money that way) the interaction may never get picked up. Most pharmacies only run interaction checks between the drugs they dispense, not against a full drug list. Of course, one can always stop going to doctors and never have to deal with any of that crap again. . . .

Mema--Gerd meds interfere with the absorption of other meds by change the amount of acid the stomach produces. Many meds have a coating that requires the acidity in the stomach to dissolve the coating, so the active med can be absorbed in the intestines.
ORLA--good question! Too bad educators can't stay focused on education and let the parents deal with everything else. Too many kids are getting out of school not knowing how to read or make change, but know exactly when to go to what group to cry discrimination. Sheesh.
Yeah, they were putting up Christmas stuff the other day. The Local Wallyworld has a section of 'seasonal' stuff where I went to pick up something to decorate my cubicle with for Halloween, and maybe a small plant for my cubby. The plant and garden stuff was gone, and Christmas stuff was being put out. Unreal.

and I'm one too. I slept, I slept I get so excited when I sleep, of course it was with one of the hunks u pictured he just plain tuckered me out. NNIIICCEE.OH OH I have not had a mosquiteo bited since my first Chemo--not one--They don't eve come near me even if they are at the person who is sitting right next to me and I don't wear any bug stuff. Whatever poison they we have in our blood the bugs hate. Cydie I was a supervisor (hahahahaha) for Titles and registration area of the State of IL---in Lombard one of the bigest facilities--and see how I am on here, I wasn't much different there either. I really didn't let people et to me so I was in a good mood most of the time LOL and my weird sense of humor ot me thru all those years. And great friends who I still have, that's who I had lunch with yesterday. So they are defintely keepers--I love em.
