LOL...plumbers crack...cwacking mese up...LOL. Talked to Kevin bout hour ago. Jen sleeping. Stepson went out last night in search of Ginger Snaps, found some at Target. Tonite, Kevin going out to by 'ginger tea'. Told him to have her call me if she felt up to it...need to hear her voice. But no call yet. Dats ok...She jes hab to get thru these 1st few days..den she will feel better.

Yes the 's' word is being thought.....lol......I know I have been away waaaaaay toooo long!!! but please don't chastise me. I been busy driving over to the next town for lymphodema treatment twice a week and then once a week for hydrotherapy to try and get some strength back into this old body as it seems to be getting weaker by the day.......grrrr not what I want to happen!!
Enyways ise back now but need to go back an read the 15 pages that I've missed!!!!

Chrissy, I actually found a condo not too far from Adelaide, but the darn airfare is toooo high. Darn it! Sure love that area. Did you read back when I thought you would be pwoud of mese? Met a couple of girls in the elevator in our hotel in LA, and as soon as they started talking, I guessed that they were from OZ! And mese wuz right....they said everyone else has thought they were from England, so they were glad I knew the accent. They were from Brisbane, and I told them that was one of my fav areas in OZ...that and Adelaide. Hate hearing all dat chit you are having to go thru, and hope the treatments start helping you a LOT. I think we need the inflatable chapel to be put up again...need lots of prayers, and want you to get all your strength back, ok? Thats an order!!! Love you!Still trying to play catchup with my shows....so had to send ChileBoy home early...but I had worn him out already anyway... NEXT....

Camy the hydrotherapy is gentle exercise done in a heated pool in order to take stress away from the body. It works with your own body and the resistance of the water to give a good workout without hurting. It's really pleasant and an easy way for me to work my muscles to gain strength without damaging myself in the process. The exercises are dictated by a physiotherapist and is strictly taylored to my needs.
Kathy you did good!!!!.....lol. My DH took me out to dinner mid week and there was a couple seated behind us. They were celebrating there anniversary and a surprise cake appeared. I heard the woman say she wished she had her camera so I offered to take a couple on my iPhone and mms them to her. Well to cut a long story short, it turned out she is a 12 year survivor and her DH is a 6 year survivor of prostate cancer.......unbelievable!! It sure is a small world and getting smaller.0 -

Wahine--thanks for missing me. Work has been pretty busy but good. Stayed late yesterday evening to help the nursing home staff clean up after a 95th birthday party for one of my patients there. The nursing home has so little extra space and went out of their way to provide a nice room and even helped decorate. It was quite the crowd, too, between family and church. You should have seen the smiles!

CynCyn--not working the weekend, worked a bit late in the evenings and had early morning appointments so I didn't get to finish most of my morning posts. It's warmed up to 21 degrees from the 17 it was when I got up. Kinda funny watching Sadie bark and seeing puffs of steam come out her mouth!
Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Lamp Shade Party
1 jigger silver tequila
1/2 jigger melon liqueur
1/4 jigger triple sec
1/2 jigger sour mix
1 splash grenadine
1 splash lime juice
1 jigger orange juice
Fill a margarita glass with crushed ice. Pour in tequila, melon liqueur, triple sec into the glass. Top with sour mix, grenadine, lime juice, orange juice. Garnish with maraschino cherry and orange wedge.
