2nd, the last day of school is tomorrow! And being insane, I volunteered to sub for a teacher friend whose daughter is graduating & who has run out of time to get everything organized.

Ruth, you are angel for helping a friend! It should be an easy day, right? Isn't this year in the year for school to end? I hated the last day of school, cried my eyes out (only 2 years teaching and didn't return to the district either year and 7 years instructional assistant). Don't know how you teachers have the emotional strength to watch the fledglings leave the nest)

Well, since I am the sub, I may be crying! It's actually a really hard day: they are done with their tests, their books are turned in, grades are done, they are restless and VERY ready to get out of there. Yikes!!! Luckily I know most of the 8th graders from last year, and that should help keep the lid on
