Many artists to choose from, but after you answer check this video by the orig. artist, with the immortal lines at the end "...and a Bow Wow to you too." I know I've worked that saying into MY comments to people more than once.

How is everything in Wisconsin? I grew up in Milwaukee0 -
Oh how fun, WI is good! I'm in the SW part of the state and work in Madison. I get to Milwaukee from time to time. Nice here today, snowed an inch yesterday but sunny today and supposed to hit 36 so it'll all melt.
Is yours Kenny Chesney?
Me and Mrs. Jones
0 -
Yup.
Michael Buble, but I think some else also, but he was the original.
And you are right, the song by Livingston Taylor is actually named You Can Take Me Home.
Town Without Pity0 -
Jane, I know the 1972 soul version of Me & Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul. :-)
They weren't the original but The Nylons did a fantastic acapella version of Town Without Pity.
I checked and it's 1982 so fits the 50's-80's parameters of this game. Here's one I like:
