Chrissy, great avatar. Whose the little love muffin?

The little love muffin is my 10mth old niece who decided to take her first steps to me on her daddy's birthday on Sunday! Oh what joy!

samsue, love my Kinos. I have a dozen pair in all colors. Every time I go to Key West, I add a couple more colors. They are great for wading in rocky surf.

Lisa, that's a stunning pic of the National Cemetery with the snowy mtns. I love the color palette: blue, green, and white. Also the depth perspective is great.
Very cute avatar, Chrissy!

We celebrate 7th year birth day of my Grand son ( second daughter,s son) to day. My eldest daughter has prepared everything as I was confined with my duty. I wished him to grow to be a good boy as he is so naughty my house is lot of noise since the day he came to visit for a weekend. I dont know what will happen when leaves.. perhaps house will be so empty. I gave him one pair of dresses for his birth day and then he was asking what grandpa will give for me. We all are laughing ... and my husband gave him a big hug and kissed him after that he was so satisfied and said this is exactly what I want.

Rock band tour hitting the road. On our way north. Three hours up the road. No snow cover at this point, we'll see what we'll have up along the lake!
Raj. Birthdays for grandchildren are such a blessing. Obviously their birth is the first blessing, but to get to spend these years with them is such a thrill.
WELCOME arjane!!!! Please bookmark us and come back often! I see you are a newbie & will have a 5 post-a-day restriction for a while, but you can always read along (saving your posts for other threads where you may indeed have questions/needs) and then splash in with us full force when you get past the limitation.

I'm on laptop while in the pick-em-up-truck! The reception today is especially flukey???
In any case, I wanted to go on a long 'vent' of welcome to anyone who may read along regularly or even on occasion. I saw on another thread how people often feel frustrated or ill at ease in joining a long-standing thread for feeling so left out/newcomber etc etc.
I just want to throw down the welcome mat to anyone who reads along to "give us a try."
We have several very old timers who post very regularly here and others who are new-to-the-beach and splashing along with ease. It's not imperative for you to share pictures, though we will be happy to 'teach' you how to do that -- which makes it so much more fun.
In any case, just wanted to welcome anyone inclined to want a spot to hang their beach towel and get to visiting with a smaller group within BCO.
Feel free to tell us as much or as little as you want to share -- about your BC journey (which we fairly seldom talk about here, but can be pressed into service if needed) or about your real life.
Seeing everyones travels is such a heart-felt delight.

Yeah faith you are right. I felt so lonely without them. Whenever they come to visit me I am so happy.. and now I worrying about their departure.. I dont have grandchildren from my son. My youngest is still studying and eldest one says he dont expect for a child now. I sometimes wonder when to see my grandchild who is going to inherit the family clan.

Or living vicariously through everyone else's travels works too.
(Edit to add~or everyone else's grandchildren.)

Chabba, that is a very impressive range. Is that a pine forest in the foreground? The air must smell so fresh there.

And more from other parts of the beach.

Oooo Chubba, beautiful pics. Is that sand or snow or both? Anyway the contrasts are fabulous! I looooove clouds!

Chabba, wow - they are seriously cool pictures.
Faith, very well said to would-be posters. If you happen to start your reading on a page where it seems like inside stories or jokes being traded, it is soooo non-intentional. This thread loves adding new readers and posters like few others I've found on the Boards.
To help defeat the gloom of today's weather in my neck of the woods, I repost one of my many favorite pictures of our beachie getaway ...

The sun is just about ready to go down here...Tried to catch the afterglow. It usually glows more when we have clouds.

Beachies...... these pictures are just amazing.
Chabba, did you take these latest photos? Breath-taking!! I know that early on, you posted photos from others in your region. These are truly amazing. KUDOS to the photographer, and great appreciation to you for sharing them.
So, now I'm 5 presentations out of 9. Tonight was just sooooooooo much fun. A group of 3 to 8 year olds, with a few older sibblings mixed in for additional depth. Then we had a couple dozen college students mixed in, so each child had a 'buddy'......... wow. (The parents were off at trainings.) The room was set up with two screens hooked to projection via the laptop. All of the technology worked flawlessly and it was just soooooooooo much fun. All of this orchestrated by some dear gals who have turned into such great friends thru the years.
Tomorrow: two different events. One teacher training & then another evening concert -- for the other end of the county.
Giggle. We do get to sleep in. LOL.
Keep these amazing pictures coming!! I've gotta go grab some of the sundown shots from Naples.
