rajkumari - I don't remember ever meeting you before so welcome to our beach.  There are a lot of very fine ladies here that I have grown to love and from the posts you already know some of them.  I am looking forward to getting to know you.  Joy and blessings, Amy Jo

    RAJ!!!

    Great to see you.

Love seeing all the new photos.

Off to bed. Tonight was my first of 14 concerts in the coming week. Literally have a dozen for next M,T,W,R for a BIG library spread across a wide county. Three shows per day. No kidding: morning, noon and night!! Hubby to do all the driving etc. All I have to do is show and sing. LOL.

I will attempt to stay a bit connected from the road.

At some point I should probably acknowledge that I'm getting older. This particular circuit is a real hug-fest and exhausting, but delightful to see dear friends from the past.

    xx00xx00xx00xx

Everyone take care of each other.

faithandfifty - that is a lot of singing.  Take care of yourself and get as much rest as you can.

I too am off to bed.  DH does not want to have to come wake me up to go to bed again tonight like he has every night this week.  Sweet Dreams to all.

Mum - Your DH is so talented.  Every day I hope for more of his pictures.  It was wonderful to finally see the man behind the camera!  And to see that he is as handsome as he is talented!  You are a beautiful couple who both take beautiful pictures.

Lisa - I don't know what they are either, but somehow they speak to me.  As much as I would like to be like a lodgepole pine, since my DX and some of the other stresses in my life I feel more like the tree on the left.  May I be like the tree in surviving no matter what life hands me.

Lisa - curiousity is peaked. I am going to have to find out what those trees are.  I will let you know when I find out.  Off to bed, night all.

answering as I read, and I'm wayyyy back!!!

Mum - please repost the pic of dd and hub...at this point on the thread it says "unavailable".  I loved hte other pics I did see - you looked so wonderful and happy - and I'd love to see that other pic.

Faith and Amy, I've said before and I'll keep saying ... enjoy those grands, and all the ones to come, each and every second you spend with them. I long for grands and while I'm envious of all those who have them, I try to just be happy for you while I wait :)

Raj!!!  Long time no see - very happy to see you again dear.

Lisa, I love that beach shot ... a little of the wild side of water in there, which is what draws me again and again to the shores.

Lisa, thanks for the long shot. I thought they were dead trunks, didn't realize those green tops belonged to them! They are either Disney trees or Stephen King trees.

I use those 2 terms when I don't know what something is. If it's over the top like a passion flower, I call it a Disney flower. If it's creepy and weird, it's a Stephen King thing. Makes life so much easier!! heheehhe

For those who've never seen a Passion flower, here are some examples:

Hi, I've met some of you on other threads, but I've only just discovered this thread.  Sad to say, I don't live anywhere near a beach, other than a small local lake.  but I love your beach photos.  I've seen the ocean a couple times and it just thrilled my heart.  I love the sound of the waves as much as watching them come in.  Awesome!

Mum, wow, amazing bird photos!!  I've tried to take photos of local birds a few times but my photos don't look anything like those.  What a wonderful talent you and your DH have!!!

chabba - love the Grays Harbor photo too and the ship off in the distance.

Hmmm..maybe I'll have to dig up some photos of the boundry waters between MN and Canada.  Until then I'll just sink my feet into the warm sand of beach photos you've all posted.  Ahhh..... wiggling my toes around in the sand.  *relaxing*
