Here in Florida you need an umbrella unless you want to be soaked to the skin in 10 seconds! And if you don't have one, you just wait because the rain will generally stop in 10 minutes...It's CRAZY! But if I lived in the Northwest, I would not use one

LOLOLOL that reminds me of when we were younger. My DH was a CONFIRMED runner/jogger. His work sent him to a class in Florida for a week. One morning he was on his way out for his daily run. The hotel consierge saw him leaving and said "It's going to rain!". Being from the NW, he thought - "no big deal, I run in the rain all the time..." Well, maybe not quite
. He said he looked (and felt) like a drowned rat when he shortly returned, soaked to the skin, and (as he always ran in sweats) wearing almost his weight in water!Have and use a raincoat
