Hi Ocean, you can't wait for it to cool down and I can't wait for it to warm up!

I had two drains out on day 2 and the last 2 drains out on day 4, but I'm still in a fair amount of pain. Thanks for thinking of me. I've been thinking of you too.

I like to sunbathe at times but I don't do it a lot like I used to when I was a teenager.

Do you prefer texting, emailing or instant messaging?

    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

It won't be long and I will be complaining about snow and ice. I keep reminding myself of that! Lol

    I have 2 daughters - age 19 & 23, so texting is a MUST!! Lol

Car, van, or SUV? (mini van for me - I drive the bus daily that we take when we go somewhere as a family!!)

    We have a car.

Do you drive a manual car or only automatic?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

Only automatic - my hubby taught me to drive when we were teenagers. I don't think he would have the patience to teach me to drive a stick. Lol

Do you work? Full-time, part-time, retired or not at all?

I'm not working at all - I have chronic fatigue syndrome.

Do you keep busy or do you get bored sometimes?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

Wow. I'm sorry to hear that.

I usually keep pretty busy. I work full-time and have 2 daughters & a grandson who keep me pretty busy.

Big family or small? Mine is huge!! Lol

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

I have a new tankini that has pockets for foam forms but I've been too sore to try it on since surgery.

Did you buy many new clothes after surgery or not?

  • vargadoll
    vargadoll Member Posts: 1,942

yes... lots of tops! I have truncal LE and my tops before surgery were to tight with my swell spot and ugly bra.

    Sweet tea or water?

    Water.

Do you prefer mineral water or tap water?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

I don't really have a preference. We have really good city water so our tap water with a filter is really pretty good. (Oh and by city I mean a very small city. Not like a big, huge city like Los Angeles or New York. We have maybe 20.000 on a good day. Lol)

    City or country?

  • aussie-cat

I live in the northern suburbs of a major city called Melbourne but I like to visit the country.

Is there a lot of traffic near where you live or not?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

no not in our town, there's a lot more an hour north of us in Columbus.

are you a flower gardener or not?

  • Sara536

Not, I have some nice pieces but don’t think I look good in them. I’m a jeans kind of person. I buy some and appreciate them for their design and pass them along to my daughters.

Do you wear heels often or not?

  • vargadoll
    vargadoll Member Posts: 1,942

not. More of a wedge heel girl.

    Sandals or sneakers?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

    Sandals.

Do you wear black shoes or other colours?

  • Sara536
    Sara536 Member Posts: 5,937

black, brown, and tan, but running shoes tend to be combinations of blue, gray and white + silverish reflective strips.

Do you wear belts or let it all hang out?

  • vargadoll
    vargadoll Member Posts: 1,942

never wear a belt, though I need one today! Recent weight loss of 16 pounds has me hanging out today because my pants won't stay up!

    Jeans or dress pants?

  • Sara536
    Sara536 Member Posts: 5,937

    jeans

Congratulations on the weight loss. (I think from reading another thread, that’s what you wanted.)

Have you come to like a “good for you” food that you never tried before or not

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

    Yes, I'm a Christian.

I'm something of a bookworm but I tend to not have time to read much. I don't tend to read many books that are made into movies.

Do you like drama or action movies more?

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

probably drama a little more than action, but I like comedy movies, too. Depends on the movie & the actors.

TV shows - comedy, drama or reality?

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

I like some drama TV shows and some reality but tasteful ones that are mainly about house renovating and that kind of thing.

Do you have a favourite TV show at the moment or not and what is it?
