    Miriandra, this is a fun topic! I knew fenestration was related to windows and it brings up a good memory. A friend of mine who was in IT tech support before she retired told me a story of how, when someone's computer was really messed up, she'd tell them it needed a complete defenestration. They'd say ooh, what's that? and she'd say, it needs to be throw it out the window. [Ruth, that was NatsFan.]

    I couldn't choose between yawp and yurt so I will do them both!

    yawp: to make a raucous noise: squawk

    yurt: a circular domed tent stretched over a collapsible lattice framework, once used by nomads and now used for vacation spaces such as yurt-to-yurt ski trails (I know this from personal experience in Colorado).
