GOOD ones Julie and Surfdreams! Ha!
Wow! That was beautiful Kiwi! Really profound!.... xoxo
When our girls were little, we would always watch Mr. Rogers.... AND Romper Room.... So it must have been in the early 60's? I'll always remember that song! "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood"....

Cute animal posts! We didn't have a tv until I was in my teens, so I missed out on Mr Rogers. But I saw a documentary about him before he passed away and he really was an amazing man who lived his beliefs. Rare soul indeed.

kiwi, how was the first day of fall? Do you get snow where you are

Hi Smaarty! Fall has definitely arrived (boo, hiss!). The recent cyclone brought cold air up from the Antarctic. The days are still reasonably warm, but it's chilly at night! We don't get snow very often where I live, but it does snow on the mountains and further south. About 3 years ago, we got snow at the beach here! We do get high wind and horizontal rain during the winter and the wind from the south is really cold. But nothing like South Dakota, where I grew up! The weather in Wellington is not dissimilar to San Francisco (where I also lived) - cold, wet, rainy. But we get more wind here.
