This is Glendalough in Wicklow, about half an hour's drive from where I live.
Absolute best time to go there is early morning as the parking is limited and it's a popular spot!
This is the railway line right behind my house. Normal commuter trains run on it but during Christmas/Easter hols and summer months
the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland run steam train trips.
Real life Thomas the Tank Engine.

Beautiful setting to live in! Love the steam train too. This was our sunset tonight. The "lake" in the foreground is the flooded paddock across the street. Makes it look like we have lakefront property!

The Prime Minister here wants the flag changed. It's going to cost tens of millions of dollars to do two ballots on it. I'm thoroughly disgusted; there are BC sisters who are waiting months to get scans because healthcare is underfunded, etc. However, I might be able to get behind this idea.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do away with both major political parties, and have an election for President from the "best, most intelligent person" to run our country. We could have the House of Representatives, one from each State, but no other official agency.
Because all they do is fight anyway, and only vote along party lines. We don't need disignated parties... just one caring, intelligent, fair person to be our President.... And then the runner-up would be Vice President...
Government has over-grown it's pants... Too many people running the rest of us... and nothing gets done...
If we could just start all over again, building a more productive government... and everybody getting along... that's my dream.
