My foster kittens. The two gingers and their brother (in the top photo) go to the vet tomorrow for the big snip, then off to forever homes. Momcat also off to the vet for a spay, then back to her owner. Going to miss them! Still have the tabby boy (on the right) and the two girls for a bit longer. They are really funny!

Lovely kittens Kiwi. YOu are so great to foster them for the Kitten Inn. I had to take Arthur for annual vaccination this morning. He is always very good about going into the pet carrier, but NOT happy on the car journey. Glad that's over!

I have noticed that cats never want to go in the carrier to go to the vet. Different story at the vet; can't wait to get back in the carrier.

Wren that is exactly true! Can't get them in - then you can't get them out - then they're back in lickety split! Take me home!!

So true, Wren! Momcat was NOT a happy camper this morning. No breakfast, had to be stuffed into the carrier (not an easy feat), and then a 2 hour car ride to the vet (morning traffic sucks). The kittens were mostly quiet, but there were three of them together in a carrier.
The good news is that they're coming back home with me tonight! They don't have room for them at KI, so I take them back Saturday. At least they'll be in familiar warm surroundings while they recover.
Hugs to all,
Terre

My DD is a teacher, today was the last day. I did 23 years with my district, we ALL looked like that.

I was a teacher for 3 years and it just wasn't the right thing for me. I went back to social services.
