Hey feline, thanks for the movie review. Yes, Madding Crowd is here in the States, but when I saw the commercials for it on TV, I thought it looked like it might be rather sappy. Perhaps we should reconsider.

8 track tapes! The "Grand-father".... Ha!
We had a portable player, AND a lot of tapes....
AND 78 rpm records... Even Gene Autry....
The 45's, with the center piece...
Next, the 33 1/3's
THEN came the cassettes... Ha!
I used to record our old 78's, and LP's onto these tapes, to play in our car... And even recorded songs from the radio in the 80's. Still have a lot of them also, but they aren't worth anything...just to me. Wish I still had the tapes of my Mom and Dad talking and laughing at get-togethers...
