I should explain. I adopted poor Max 7 yrs ago and he had been abused by kids. When my grandchildren visit they aren't allowed to bother or chase him. He stays in our bedroom and hides. He always sleeps with us and we used to be dog people! He is not a loving cat but he loves on his terms. That's why you see my little GD holding her hands out to him. Thankfully for him he only has to put up with them once a year! But we have a new one coming that lives 8 miles away so it will be a challenge.
Andi is just the opposite and we thought he would be good for Max. We shall see!

Mema - I had one similar to Max. She had been horribly abused before I got her. Took her 10 years, but she eventually became something of a lap cat. Always hit when children were around, however. Hope Andi helps Max - we've had cats that have kind of taught each other things. Romeo taught Nitro how to groom (kind of) and Nitro taught Romeo (street cat) how to play.

My all time favourite sign was in Las Vegas. In huge black block letters it said "DRUGS GUNS BOOZE" and below in script "Pet Supplies". I figured it was the shopping centre that had everything you'd ever need!
