smarty, the church at the top is not far from my home. It sits off of highway 7 between allenspark and Estes park Colorado. In fact, when the pope paid a visit in the 90's he did a mass at that church. I have been in it several times to thank god for all of our blessings and the natural beauty surrounding me. The buildings behind it were destroyed in a wildfire a couple of years ago. And a year later a really bad flood! Somehow, the church still stands without a single bit of damage. Such a beautiful place. And special to many of us locals. Thank you for posting it!!

I must give a story to this pic. This is Mesa verde national park. They are ancient cliff dwellings of the Anasazi. Every twenty years or so, the park will allow the ancient fire pits to be illuminated. Such an occasion occurred just before Christmas. Photographers from all over the world flocked to Colorado, to catch this beautiful ancient image

Chelle, That is a beautiful photo. DH & I have been there & it's an eerie feeling being right down there in the cliff dwellings, we both felt a strange feeling like we shouldn't have been there. Thanks for posting it. Dee

Irish hotel gives forgotten bunny the stay of a lifetime
A little girl forgot her toy rabbit in Ireland's famous Adare Manor Hotel, so the hotel put out a 'lost bunny' call via Facebook with the caption: "I lost my owner at breakfast in Adare Manor".
A series of posted photos of the bunny experiencing the stay of a lifetime followed.
The rabbit was pampered like royalty, with the images showing the lucky so-and-so propped up in bed with the remote and a giant Fererro Rocher, enjoying afternoon tea, chilling at the pool and even getting a massage!
Eventually his owner, Kate, was found and the little girl returned to the hotel to be reunited with her super relaxed and rested bunny.
And while she no doubt missed her floppy-eared friend during his extended stay we can only can only imagine how thrilled she was to see the adventures he got up to!
"I lost my owner at breakfast in Adare Manor!"
"Well now that I'm here I might as well watch a bit of telly and eat this giant Fererro Rocher. Be rude not to."
"Ahhh this is livin'!"
"That's it love, iron out those kinks."
"Now tell me, can you cut the crusts off please?"
"It's Kate! She's come back for me! Now Kate, I hope you know I have become accustomed to a certain standard of living…"

Maybe I can get my family to "lose" me at a lovely resort for a few days. Sigh.

Lekker, we probably won't get the same royal treatment, but get booted to the kitchen or laundry room to work instead.
