So, here we are. I read some time ago (how true it has become) that FG would become so much worse the closer we got to election day. For me that was surpassed a while ago. Bragging that he got rid of Roe v Wade and then saying it was what EVERYONE wanted. Denigrating different groups of people — Blacks, Asian Americans, Jews, Puerto Ricans, etc. Saying he protects women, like it or not and even trying to pretend he could hold down a McDonalds job or be a trash collector — you know just to further find a way to insult Puerto Ricans — yes, remind them you consider them trash.
Then pretend with a microphone. What a shining example of a Reps. Are they proud of their guy? Sort of makes you wonder — just what J.D. Vance really thinks. Surely even that should gag the up-standing family man who has his little woman under control. What every sane adult hopes their children get to see. And yet this clown of a person, this demented douche bag gets to walk away unfettered by things that would come down HARD on anyone else's head. It's pathetic.
But ah, there is some good news. We can't say anything is for sure anymore. This last nine yrs. has proven that over and over again, but there are signs. Good ole' red Iowa's is one of them. Women so it sounds are not only showing up, but in droves — and that is not one bit good for the Reps. Puerto Rico's legal voters are busy doing just that — another iffy sit. for the Reps.
AT one time or the other the FG has turned his back on so many — and many of them were once 'his' people. I feel good — not great. It's way too early for that, but good right now is good enough. I do think we have been a bit better off all along, but it has at times been hard to see or feel compliments of the competing media. Even my favorites who only now seem willing to allude to Harris/Walz doing a little better although it is still sort of 'touchy'.
I have thought it possible for our people to do REALLY well and I hope they do, and I also feel that FG is counting on whatever nefarious things the Reps. might have come up with because in his demented fervor he has just caused huge alienation almost across the board. I think he has done MORE to lose than almost anyone could. It's in fact I think almost amazing in a way.
For that reason, I do worry about how much of the after-election lawsuits and other things will go and how the SC may look at things. Somehow, while I think there could always be a few really tortured souls who think it their duty to sacrifice for FG, it seems to me that most people would not want to face the huge possibility of jail and long sentences for election interferences. If FG loses and I feel he will — all those who are patiently waiting their pardons will not be free — and I just can't see a bunch of people wanting to join in the revelry of prison life.

It was interesting to see the real time photog fact check as FG bragged about his full house. I read a piece about how 2016 was the 'real' bragging year and it really hasn't developed like that since. I think at times there have been a fair-sized group — but not the numbers once that could be boasted.
People know him now so it's all a lot different. Other than the highly loyal who will never fail him, I'm surprised (upon seeing the loads of people leaving early) that so many people still bother to go. They don't stay and so I think what is it that spurs them to even have a desire to show. It's obviously a gross disappointment once there.
Were it me, the first few lies (and if you're already a bit dis-enchanted) likely would having me thinking of some other ways that might be a lot more interesting for my afternoon. I also wonder (sometimes I think I need to worry about myself) as to what people may feel when it dawns on them that their so-called idol isn't much of one actually and their disillusionment has no replacement in sight. I can't imagine the long yrs. spent investing in this man who has done nothing but lose and suddenly, at a rally you think to yourself — boy am I screwed. I'm going home. Well, actually, I don't feel real sorry for them unless it would be for having taken so long — and therefore having farther to fall when the light bulb finally turns on.

Surely this wasn't his campaign's idea of what he should be doing ??? I do think he is likely much harder to control and even less likely to go along with a lot of the campaigns' thoughts on what would be positive for him. He listens to no one much and that is even more pronounced in the dementia state.
