Well, I saw MO yesterday, got the results back.

It’s back. For the 3rd time. Deep down, I knew it was. Just not where *I * thought. It’s in about 4-5 spots along my spine and pelvis. So I’ll be starting falosadex, ibrance again, and zometa. No rads unless pain. So of course my entire back hurts today🤣🤣 I’ll be ok, the critters will keep me going.

You may tell me that my hand and foot are only imaginary symbols of my existence. I could believe you, but you never, never can convince me that the I is not an eternal reality, and that the spiritual is not the true and real part of me.

    spookiesmom,

So sorry to hear about your progression. It stinks but you just have to march ahead.

As to the meme with Musk/RFK Jr./Rogan (I think), I wonder what’s in it for them to be anti-vax?

Spookiesmom- so sorry your boney lesions came back. I hope the drugs work well on all your returned spots.

So sorry to read your news, Spookie. Sending healing thoughts your way…..maybe not healing thoughts, more like may your treatments knock the hell out of the cancer cells!

I had a nice, news-free vacation. Everyplace I went had such spotty internet that I didn't even try to keep up with the news. All was good except trying to get home yesterday…instead of walking in my door in the early evening, it was 3 am……and my luggage didn't even make it at all. Argh! I don't know if I will scroll back & try to catch up or just jump back in from here.

Spookiesmom: So sorry to hear of your recent progression. Offering (((hugs))) and that the plan knocks the hell out of those boney lesions.

Ruthbru: Had an issue with my luggage not being available after a trip. Other 2 traveling with me had theirs on our flight but not me. Asked them not to leave it on my front porch when delivered if I was not home but that's where it was when we got home. Glad they found it but not happy with delivery. Hope you get yours soon.

The meme about the 3 stooges that are anti-vax is right on. Do not know what their issue is but you can bet they were all vaccinated as children and they survived. Annually there is some poor child who dies here because their parents took them to the minister instead of the doctor. Thoughts and prayers didn't work for them either. Not treating a child for pneumonia or diabetes has resulted in the imprisonment of their parents. The 3 stooges need to stop pretending they know more than the actual scientists and modern medicine.

spookie, thinking of you at this time. I’m hopeful the new treatment gets you back to stable and takes care of the aches and pain you have in the spine and pelvis.

I always want to barf when I see entitled privileged uber-wealthy white guys (who are so removed from how the average person lives) act like they have all the answers. What kind of hardships have these men ever overcome? No matter how much money and power they accumulate, their shit still stinks. Just a bunch of blowhards spewing out rhetoric. You know, I don’t have their wealth or privilege, but amazingly I am able to arrive at my own conclusions without a single teeny tiny itsy bitsy morsel of information from them!

Darn, sorry to hear about the progression, @spookiesmom, but sounds like they have a solid plan in place. Did you reach out to your team to see if they can prescribe anything to manage the pain today? 😕

Divine —- quite the thought. That the privileged super wealthy think they have developed 'smarts' only the rest of us could dream about having. If you have ANY brain cells at all and have spent some time in a few groups and perhaps a job or two — and children who went to school you will get fully schooled on many, many subjects making it easy not to need the super wealthy blowhards. I have always wished I were smarter, but had no idea monetary accumulations were the road to be an all-knowing sage.

Speaking of all knowing — I was busy today and no time to keep up with the news which is sometimes good due to excessive repetition. I did note though that the Brett Baier interview with the Loon was interesting. He told on himself mainly and sounded idiotic and stupid while doing it. Jack Smith must be a really happy guy. Loon is making almost the whole case against himself and handing it to Smith.

Your likely lucky Ruth to have missed a good deal of the news. I have ignored much of it lately. Partly the repetition and party that due to years of Loon material daily flooding the airwaves.

Woe is the news media when the Loon is finally forced into the swan dive of the hoosegow which he has done all in his GREAT power (GREATER than anyone you know) to deserve.

If he can't con money from it — what good is it to him. It has no meaning and nothing to show him.

Oh yes, I saw a clip with Trump bitching about Hunter Biden’s “sweetheart” plea deal and made the exact comment as your meme, Jackie!

For the record, I never cared for Hunter. Something about him I’ve always disliked. I read his autobiography “Beautiful Things” and it made me dislike him even more. He comes across as another entitled while guy. I get a completely different vibe from him than from his father.

And last week, I finished reading Elizabeth Buhle’s memoir, “If We Break”. She is Hunter’s ex and mother of his three daughters. My opinion of Hunter plummeted further. They were married 21 years. He spiraled into a piece of shit husband. She stood by him through his addictions to alcohol and drugs, many rehab stints and even after he repeatedly cheated on her. The final straw was when Elizabeth learned Hunter was involved with his brother Beau’s widow, Hallie. Elizabeth had been friends for years with Hallie as well as Beau. Their kids were all friends. Elizabeth filed for divorce and eventually even took back her maiden name.

Not sure the words to describe what I think of Hunter, but he doesn’t have the character of Joe, and he seems to have taken advantage of all his privilege to live an irresponsible life without worrying about consequences since he’s so well connected. Could have done more with all that privilege and yet used it for selfish means. Recent photos of him shows he’s looking a bit rough.

I need a kind of spiritual inhalation, a spaciousness that comes
when I am living from the inside out.  Only in this way can I find
my joy again, the tenderness I can feel toward myself and the
world.  Find is the wrong word.  I don't think anyone "finds" joy.
Rather, we cultivate it by searching for the preciousness of small
things, the ordinary miracles, that strengthen our hearts so we can
keep them open to what is difficult:  delight in taking a shower or
a slow walk that has no destination, in touching something soft,
in noticing the one small, black bird who sings every morning from
the top of the big old pine tree that guards this cabin.  I need to
give my attention to the simple things that give me pleasure with
the same fervor I have been giving it to the complex things
with which I drive myself crazy

Usually I likely wouldn't say so much but I found myself shaking my head in agreement Divine. I have looked at Hunter Biden thinking that he looked a bit 'scruffy'.

I am also touched that his dad, our wonderful President is so full of love and support of family that he has stood by Hunter who must have cost him so many sleepless nights and heartache. I do think Hunter misses something in that his sibling Beau was such a stalwart, upright person. Any comparison just leaves Hunter in the dust. That is sad, but somewhere along the way life events seemed to have made Beau stronger and Hunter much weaker.

Thing is, he was a real weasel. My only issue is that it is said he is paying more penalty right now than what would be 'normal' for anyone else. If he did wrong, it should be discovered and addressed. But bending too far over is not the answer. At any rate — many of the Reps. rather think he should be strung up on gallows or put in jail for life.

Guess they know their guy could very easily and probably will go down and they wanted harsh vengeance for it now along with a club to beat Pres. Biden over the head with. Sigh!!!!
