Pain after port placement

Hi guys I have a high pain tolerance. But my port area really is painful. When I stand after lying down it kind of throbs. I’m not running a fever but it hurts. Is it supposed to be this painful when I move? It’s only been 36 hours ish since put in. But I didn’t think it was supposed to be pain. Maybe sore and tender but not painful
Should I call the surgeon???
