Did your oncologist say it was effective for early

Unfortunately for me both breasts.

Right 2.5 centimetres

I think many of us who have a lumpectomy end up with a combination of whole breast radiation followed by a boost ( which is actually a partial breast radiation focused on the area of the breast where the cancer has been removed.

I had partial breast irradiation prior to surgery in a trial. I'm now 4 years out. My tumor was much smaller than yours which might be a deciding factor.

vpate, I was offered partial breast radiation and my tumor was 2.6 with 3.0 dcis. I decided not to do it because I was HER2 positive which is more aggressive.
