I was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular carcinoma. Meet with surgeon and came out feeling so confident. Had a MRI and they found a 0.6cm mass suggestive of an intramammary lymph node. Now I'm scared to death because of the words lymph node. I realize not everyone is the same, but has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome?

Hello and sorry to hear of your diagnosis. A very high percentage of BC patients have (or had) lymph node involvement; it is not at all unusual. I had a single swollen node that was cancerous when I was diagnosed, but after chemo the cancer couldn't be found. So whether you have node involvement or not, you can have successful treatment. Take heart and good luck to you.
