Waiting on Oncotype test

I'm waiting for the results of my oncotype test. My ER was low positive at 3% and PR and HER2 are negative. So would I be considered triple negative? My RO said technically yes and so does my MO, but sent for the test anyways. What will the test tell me?

The test will confirm whether or not chemotherapy will be helpful in your case.

My MO ordered the test for me and I’m so glad she did. The Path report showed a micromet in my SN so my BS said it would get me chemo but my Mo who determines treatment ordered the test. It took 2 weeks to get the results. My score came back@11 with an 8% chance of a recurrence. I dodged chemo thankfully. FYI I had IDC, Stage 1b, Grafe 1. I had a lumpectomy and 33 radiation treatments.

My MO said women have been over treated for years so the test was a great tool to determine whether chemo was necessary.
