Zometa and knee replacement surgery?

I am scheduled for my first Zometa infusion next week and I have a partial knee replacement ia month later (and my pre-op med review is two weeks before the surgery).

Does anyone know anything about having bone surgery within a month of Zometa?

Want to get this surgery behind me so I can get back outside!

    I don’t have an answer to your question but I would definitely ask your MO who prescribed the shot and the orthopaedic surgeon too.

    Contacted my cancer center nurse line and they said no issue for my knee surgery.

    That's a good questions. I had knee replacement surgery a year ago. I asked my orthopedic about starting Zometa. He was very positive about it. Ask your orthopedic.
