Newly diagnosed IDC Stage 2 Er+(25%), PR-,Her2-

I am newly diagnosed and fall within a grey area with only being 25%ER+. My oncologist at the Cleveland Clinic is still finalizing treatment plan and taking me to tumor board to get more opinions. Currently going to treat me as both tnbc and hr positive with surgery first. Are there any in the group that have had a similar diagnosis and that was your treatment plan?

Thank for the input!

Hi K, I, too, had surgery first and a piece of the tumor sent to Oncotype to get more info about the tumor and its potential response to different treatments. If no lymph node involvement and if your tumor is >5mm, good chance that you will be getting this additional info. I am now 7+ years post diagnosis and hoping your treatment plan is a successful one too.

I was diagnosed in Feb. (er+ 20%, pr-, her2-). Had a bilateral mastectomy (flat, which I love). I take the Signatera test for tumor markers. It came back positive in November. No tumors (pet scan, breast MRI, lymph nodes clear with ultra sound).

So now I am living knowing I have the markers. :((
