Treatment options are stressful
Recently diagnosed with IDC. Early stages and lumpectomy with radiation is an option. Chemo is still up in the air. I have extremely fibrous, lumpy dense breasts and have, along with plastics and breat surgeon considered bilateral mastectomies to reduce the stress and testing every time a new lump forms. I'm here to weigh the pros and cons from people who have gone through surgery as I need to make a decision. Help!
