Breast reconstruction implant or diep
I am having a mastectomy next month on my right breast, the lump is 3 to 5mm and I am a b cup. They are planning to do the reconstruction at the same time so I need to decide which I want, implant or flap from my tummy if i have enough fat. I don't know yet if I'm having radiotherapy after, they are taking out a lymp node at the same time to see if its spread. I thought radiotherapy messed up the implant but I dont fancy a big scar and soreness on my tummy. Any advice

You’re right that radiotherapy can sometimes affect an implant, though everyone’s experience is a bit different.
