has anyone had to have a stress test before surgery? When my port was put in they noticed slow blood flow to my heart. Now surgeon wants a stress test done before breast surgery

no but a combination of a stress test and echocardiogram (also known as a ‘stress echo’ can be very beneficial to diagnose not only blood flow and other potential heart issues like heart structural concerns, blockages, etc. and could be very valuable info for doctors to reduce any cardiac risks to you during surgery. Thank you abigailj for responding. I am scheduled next week for stress test. I had an echocardiogram a few weeks ago and it looked good.
