hello! Looks like I may be the first post in this thread. I go for my planning session and CT scan in two days! Radiation will start on March 25 for a total of 19 treatments. 15 to whole breast and 4 targeted. It’s good to have a full treatment plan now.
I am looking forward to spending down time at home for a month! I’m planning reading scripts, writing papers and maybe doing some weeding in my garden. My cats are thrilled I’m home. Here is a photo of all three together.

Hello!
Starting radiation Monday. !5 whole breast; 5 targeted. Diagnosed 12/5/24 with IDC stage 1 and DCIS. Clear margins. Will start my Letrozole after the radiation is completed. I picked up a large tub of Aquaphor and will start using it tomorrow as instructed -3 x per day. I am planning on working but a light schedule and looking forward to having more time for myself and enjoying the warmer weather that is finally here.

we are having rain here. But that makes the air fresh. Here’s Dusty sitting on her perch inside looking at the rain. Her catio is not wet. lol. They changed the time of my first radiation but fortunately I can still have my massage earlier that day. Phew.

nana Kay. Interesting about using the cream three times a day. I’ve been remembering morning and night. I’ll add a third too. Thanks for that tip. I also got calendula cream. Hope all goes well with day one of radiation!
