Pain on my mastectomy scar 15 years later

I have alway had discomfort sometimes bad. Now it worse and pretty constant. I have mastectomy left side with no implant had it taken out to help relieve pain obviously it didn’t help that much. Anyone else have this? Thx

    Ask your Dr. about scar tissue. And yes it can get tighter and more painful over time.

    It sounds tough-have you thought about asking your doctor for some new ideas or treatments?

    yes, I’m seeing my family dr today and hopefully will get a referral to a bc Specialist.

    I had a lumpectomy 17 years ago and still have pain at the scar site. And actually my oncologist and breast surgeon both warned me during my treatment that most people experience pain for years and years. I think that scar tissue just continues to build up and makes the skin tighten… not sure but I wish you well!
