Hi All,
Had a double mastectomy with Goldilocks flap procedure on 5/5/25. Spent one night in the hospital which was difficult because the alarms on all my machines would not stop pinging.
I overpacked. The most useful thing I ever bought is a traveler pillow, a mastectomy pillow with pockets, plastic straws and wipes.
At home keep on swapping between my recliner and bed. My sleep is really bad and I feel exhausted to the point of crying. Pain is really minimal.
I guess patience is what is needed. Good luck to all
