BI-RADS 3

Good evening, everyone,

Sorry for the long post, I just needed to vent.

I am 38 years old now, it all started 2 years ago, when I went to my doctor as my right breast was feeling sore, and my armpit was very painful. They did mamogram which turned to be that I have very dense breast, and then ultrasound, and there I had a few complex cysts, which thats when they put me into a 6 months follow ups (during this time, they only looked at my right breast, never the left one) after 2 years, I went to my doctor past march and asked her why wasnt my left breast been looked up too, she said first I am young, and second my symptoms were in my right breast and not left, she then proceeded to do a manual check on both breast, and she was able to feel a lump on my left breast, then she said ok, we will need to look at this one too. I had the appt for the right breast follow up and there they did my left one too, on those results, it showed that the lump on my left breast is not a cyst, but they think is a benign mass. and to do follow up for the next 6 months. fast forward to August my left breast started getting lots of sharp pains that goes from nipple to armpit and from armpit to nipple, and my nipple has been feeling a bit too sensitive. She decided to send me to a breast specialist (which I have the appt in December 2), my follow up ultrasound appt was last Thursday, during that appt, the tech was asking me if that left breast was sore, and if my nipple hurt, once finished I left the hospital, and I received a call from the tech to go back, as she wanted to get more pics of my left breast (this made my anxiety thru the roof), now is Wednesday of the week after and still don't have any results, I sent a message to my dr but she also doesn't have anything yet… I am sooo worry, and I don't think they are taking me seriously.

Also, on all follow-ups my nodules from the armpit they are enlarged, and from the report, I believe they are bigger every time.

We welcome you here, and vent away! 💗
We completely understand how stressful this waiting and uncertainty can be — it’s so hard when you’re in pain and still don’t have clear answers. You’ve absolutely done the right thing by insisting both breasts be checked and by getting a referral to a breast specialist.

It’s frustrating when it feels like you’re not being taken seriously, but please know you are doing everything right. Keep following up for your results, and make sure to bring all your previous imaging and reports to your December 2 appointment.

We’re all here for you, and we’re proud of how you’re advocating for yourself through such an anxious time. Sending you strength, calm, and support while you wait for answers. 💕 Please keep us posted! xo
