ILC and on Arimidex for 5 years….now metastasis in lower spine and ribs and sacrum
has anyone had any experience with this. The pain is horrible, and they gave me didlidid for pain but tamoxifen for cancer. I am 72.

Have you been able to talk with a palliative care or pain-management specialist? They focus specifically on improving comfort and quality of life and can often offer more tailored options. It may also help to speak with your doctor about whether your current pain medication or other treatments—such as radiation for painful areas—might be appropriate.
If you feel up to it, you’re very welcome to join one of our Zoom support groups for people living with metastatic breast cancer. Many find it helpful to talk with others who truly understand what they're going through.

Dr. said if pain doesn’t stop he may radiate but wants to see if Tomaxifin will help pain.
