Toxicity
I was diagnosed 13 years ago I am now 75 Metastatic breast cancer Her 2 positive a lifer for treatment of Herceptin/Perjeta @ 3 weeks for life.
01/26 no treatment for 8 months I have toxicity of my heart LVEF went down to 41 going in for a cardio cat scan.
I am frightened that my cancer will come out of remission not being on treatment what are the chances that it Will!??

Hi @dandrea, When you have competing medical problems there are usually ways to treat both at the same time. It might require taking heart medication or a changing the way your cancer is treated. When you get the results of the cardio cat scan have your oncologist confer with your cardiologist on how to manage your unique situation. All the best.

I will do that, I am sure they can reverse my heart problems it seems I am more upset about my cancer waking up!!!

@dandrea I'm so sorry you're dealing with two awful problems at the same time. Make sure you let your oncologist know what you are thinking so you can get some reassurance and appropriate care.
