Returning to work after completing Taxol treatment

I completed my last Taxol & Trastuzamab (Kanjinti) infusion 2 weeks ago. I had my first solo Kanjinti infusion last week, and I'll continue these every 3 weeks until November.

My question is, how will I have the energy needed to return to work full-time? That's my plan. I work in a hospital, and walk all over the place throughout the day to provide education to patients. How did everyone determine when to return to work? My MO said I'd likely regain enough energy back by about 1 month post-chemo treatment. And of course I'm sure my manager would like me back sooner than later!'

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @runner51, congratulations on completing your chemo treatments! You will hopefully feel better as more time passes since your final Taxol. Kanjinti is biosimilar to Herceptin immunotherapy, which many of our members have reported as being easier to tolerate than chemotherapy. Hopefully others can chime in and share their stories on when they were comfortably able to resume full-time work while on Herceptin or Herceptin-biosimilars. In the meantime, a good measure of your energy levels would be to assess how you're feeling over the next few weeks if you're able to resume with part-time work to start.
