Yes — a lot
It is very difficult to feel close to my partner. Since my breast cancer diagnosis and being put in a chemical menopause, I struggle with intimacy. Hot flashes make it uncomfortable to cuddle. Vaginal penetration often hurts or feels uncomfortable due to being dry. I'm not entirely comfortable with my "new" naked body, I have implants where my breasts used to be and I don't have nipples but scars. It feels like I should just get over it by now (its been 4 years). It can be an emotional rollercoaster. Communicating with my partner helps and he is open but intimacy is a continuous struggle.

Hi @windinthetree thank you for weighing in and being so vulnerable. You're not alone in this, as you can already see from a few other poll responses.
We wanted to share some links that you might find helpful. If some or most of the things you're experiencing can be addressed, hopefully you'll find a little improvement in your intimacy and relationship ❤️
Sending gentle hugs and hope that you find this useful!
