Hello everyone,

I have been diagnosed with Stage 2 BC recently. Got my genetic report yesterday.

I have got a finding of BRCA2 Variant of uncertain significance c.9307A>G and MSH6 VUS c.943T>A

Anyone with similar mutation?

I have a family history of breast cancer in mother and sister. Genetic testing not done in them.

Original Dx: Feb 2026 ER PR+ and Her2 Neg, Grade 3 IDC, Stage 2a. On Letrozole now.

I was diagnosed in 2022 and had a VUS of MSH6. I was worried because my father died of colon cancer, and MSH6 is a colon cancer gene. However, just this year, I received a letter from Myriad that my variant has been determined to be benign. More than 90% of variants are ultimately determined to be benign, it just takes a while for all the testing to be done, especially if it's uncommon.
