Growing mass
Hi I was diagnosed with ADH 13 years ago when I was in my 30's. Had a few biopsies since then but everything came back normal. I went recently for my mammogram/ultrasound and was called back for a diagnostic ultrasound.
The impression states: Left breast mass at 11:00 1 cm from the nipple which demonstrates interval increase in size for which real-time sonographic evaluation is recommended. Limited evaluation of the bilateral retroareolar breast due to signiticant nipple shadowing. Patient will be recalled for reevaluation.
I never had it where it showed a mass that has grown.
Has anyone had this before and everything was fine?
Just want to know what it could be and what would have caused this. Going for the ultrasound on Monday. A little nervous. Thanks for any advice.

Hi @pink12, we're sorry for the worries you're experiencing right now. A growing breast mass could be one of many things (benign OR malignant) - your upcoming ultrasound is a good next step in getting some answers. Sending you gentle hugs and support for Monday. Please keep us posted.
