Anyone else with a grade 3 cancer with ENE?
Hi everyone! I am currently in active treatment. I am so worried about having extranodal extension on my one lymph node.
My cancer was 2.5cm and multifocal in my right breast. I had one lymph node positive packed with 1.7cm of cancer and ENE. I am ER+ (95%)/PR+ (80%) and HER2- (2+/FISH negative - Group 4). My cancer is grade 3 with a miotic score of 2. Oncotype is 19.
My plan is:
DMX, TC Chemo, 15 rounds of radiation and verzenio/lupron and letrozole.
Are there any survivors that could give me hope and make me feel not so doomed about this? I feel like I'm destined for a recurrence because of the extranodal extension. Everything I read tells me that I have a poor prognosis.
I am so scared that I won't be here to see my two little kids grow up.

I was diagnosed in 2015 with stage 3 er+ pr- with a 4 cm tumor, multiple cancerous nodes, extracapsular extension, lymphatic invasion……I did chemo, surgery, rads. Still here and doing fine in 2026!

Oh my goodness! You have given me so much hope - I am so glad to hear that you are doing so well! I'm going to hold onto your story and try to live life normally. How did you overcome the fears of recurrence? And move past this? My last day of active treatment is June 9th and I feel broken. I've been overwhelmed since getting diagnosed in November. It's been so much for me and I'm just tired. I give you so much credit!!
How was radiation? I start on May 18th. My last chemo is May 5th.
