Scar sore and armpit sensation
Had a smx and slnb for dcis back in January, alll went well and treatment has finished , jve noticed over last week or so the scar feels tight and I have awful itchy feelings , like pickles under the armpit, no swelling or signs of infection, is this normal ?

Based on my experience and what others have mentioned as well, it does seem 'normal' to have itching, tightness or, in my case, really bad sensitivity to anything making contact with the surgical sites. I had that for several months after surgery but it did eventually calm down. There are skin calming creams that you can try as well as desensitization techniques. A physical therapist with experience in post-mastectomy discomfort can help as well (mine specialized in massage techniques and made a difference for me).
