Upper back burning after all this time of managing lymph

Hi everyone. Haven't been here in a while. I've had lymphedema in many areas of my old body now for years and years (I won't say how many :) - I wear a lot of different compression garments depending on the severity on the day, sleeves, vests etc. My question is: does anyone else have quite severe burning pain in the upper back muscles specially on one side. I can see the swelling in the back and it will go down with swell spot compression and rest. It can be bad and if I get into my recliner and rest for a while it recedes. Research tells me it's lymph affecting the nerves in the muscle causing the burning. My brother recently passed away and it flared and has stayed flared for some weeks now. I don't see a therapist any more and treat myself. I live in a rural area as a lot of us do. I'm thinking stress and grief would contribute to the pain but would like to hear from anyone else that suffers with this. Feels like this is here to stay. Take care everyone and be as well as you can.

Lynn
